JBO Entertainment Centre Help

On running the Entertainment Centre (EC), you have the option of using the Open button to choose the file you wish to play, or of using the Edit Playlist button to either compile a new play list or import a list created previously.

Single play mode:

On selecting a media file to play, EC will automatically begin to play the file, adjusting the display to suit audio or video. In either case, only the Pause and Stop buttons will be active.
If you wish to pause playback, click Pause once. To continue playback, click Pause once more. To stop playback, click the Stop button.
If playback is stopped, or when playback has ended, all of the buttons become active. The media just played remains loaded and may be replayed if required by pressing Play again.

Playlist mode:

On clicking the Edit Playlist button, the Playlist window will open.
To create a playlist, navigate to the folder containing your media files using the drive and folder option boxes, and select the filter to display audio or video files. Select the file you wish to add to your list by clicking on it, then use the ⟩ button to add the file to the playlist. Alternatively, you may double-click the file name and it will add itself to the list. To remove a file from the playlist, use the ⟨ button, or double-click on its name in the playlist and it will remove itself. To clear the playlist completely, use the ⟨⟨ button.
To save the playlist for future use, click Export and save the playlist file with a suitable name and in a location of your choice - there is no need to add the file extension as this is done for you.
To use an existing playlist, click Import and navigate to the playlist file.
When you have finished with the playlist setup, click OK to close the Playlist window and return to the EC main display. Click the Play button to play the files in the playlist, during which only the Pause and Stop buttons will be active. To pause playback, click Pause once. To continue playback, click Pause once more. To stop playback and clear the current playlist, click the Stop button.

CD mode:

To play a Compact Disc, load the required CD into your CD/DVD ROM drive. Click the Open button and navigate to the drive containing the CD ( often D or E ). Select the track number from which you want playback to begin. EC will commence playback from the chosen track, and only the Stop button will be active. EC will continue to play the CD until the Stop button is pressed.

Menu options:

File|Close will close any open files and clear data from all areas of the EC.
File|Exit closes the programme.
Some Help options require an active internet connection.
